In a recent global survey, nearly 70% of business executives said they expect autonomous AI agents to transform operations in the year ahead. What exactly is an AI “agent”? Think of it as the evolution of the AI copilots we’ve grown used to. A copilot like ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot can assist you – it generates content or suggestions when prompted. An AI agent, however, can take initiative and action.
